Kink FM is no more
[06-10-2011] After 16 years, the Dutch radiostation that brought you alternative pop, rock & dance music has stopped last Friday. That’s sad for all the people who made this station, DJ’s and listeners.
I had the privilege to make a weekly dance-rock mixprogram on KINK FM this year. I will miss that. In 16 years KINK FM became part of the lives of lots of people.
I remember my weekly haunting for new good music as heard on KINK and listening to radioshows like Urban Revolution with breakbeat DJ Loes Lee (where I did a guest mix in 2003), Electronation, Dr. Ska and Avondland, while I was still a student.
KINK FM will be missed.
